We believe that all healing and transformation ultimately come from the Lord. It’s our mission to provide a safe space to find healing and transformation, utilizing the best of what the field of psychology offers, while also drawing upon spiritual exercises, tools, and resources of the Church. Our therapists are here to guide you to find healing in relationships with others, self, and God. We help you restore and deepen connections, so that you can truly start living life abundantly.
“There is still time for endurance, time for patience, time for healing, time for change.” – St. Basil the Great
We do not accept insurance, because we do not believe it is the best for client care.
This empowers you to direct your own treatment and allows more time to be spent in direct interaction with clients, rather than billing and answering to insurance companies.
You are able to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier directly; information and Super Bills can be provided to assist at your request.
We do accept HSA payments.
What should I do in an Emergency?
In the event of an urgent crisis, it is best for you to call the suicide lifeline or get yourself to the nearest emergency room.
Our counselors are frequently engaged in client sessions and are not always available for immediate responses.
The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline is a United States-based suicide prevention network of over 160 crisis centers that provides 24/7 service via a toll-free hotline with the number 1-800-273-8255. It is available to anyone in suicidal crisis or emotional distress.
What is the cancellation policy?
All appointments must be cancelled 24 hours in advance or you will be responsible for the appointment fee. We know that emergency situations occasionally arise; this failed appointment fee may be waived at Mount Tabor's discretion.
Because there is often a wait for appointment times, it is important that we maintain this policy in the best interest of serving all our clients. Every effort will be made to respect your time; we only ask that you respect our time as well.
If you are feeling ill and would like to switch to a telehealth appointment, that option is always available to you. Text or email your counselor directly to make that switch.
What is the inclement weather / illness policy?
If you feel ill or are unable to travel due to inclement weather conditions, please contact your counselor directly to switch any appointment to a telehealth meeting.
We want you to always be safe driving, so do not hesitate to take advantage of videoconferencing and stay cozy at home.
If your counselors cannot drive safely or needs to switch to a telehealth meeting, we will let you know as early as possible.
If you are experiencing a fever, please switch to a telehealth appointment. For symptoms such as a cough or sneezing, we ask that you switch to telehealth or wear a mask to your appointment.
If you are unable to do a telehealth session, options for rescheduling can be discussed with your clinician.
