Deacon Basil Ryan Balke

Deacon Basil is a married deacon with the Ruthenian Byzantine Catholic Church (one of the 23 eastern churches which make up the Universal Catholic Church) and holds a Masters of Theology from the University of Balamand and the St. Stephen’s Diploma in Eastern Theology. He is a Lecture in Pastoral Counseling at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary, and a regular contributer to Our Sunday Visitor’s Deacon Digest He is passionate about helping individuals with their spiritual growth and has deep knowledge of church teaching. Deacon Basil Founded Mount Tabor Counseling in Colorado. Deacon Basil currently only sees clients in the State of Colorado, but can be reached at basil.balke@mounttaborcounseling.com.
